Most of the people now a days have trouble sleeping especially under stress conditions or under hard schedule conditions. Mostly, the teenagers have trouble sleeping while they need a lot of sleep. You may have a good sleep tonight after reading this post.
First of all you have to make following Precautions if you really wants to sleep:
- Do not eat before bed. Food gives you energy and activates the stomach muscles, both of which can keep you up. If you plan on going to sleep at 11pm, do not eat anything more from about 7pm-9pm, unless you are very hungry.
- Do not take tea or coffee before sleeping. Tea and coffee have caffeine in them, It increases your metabolism and you may have trouble sleeping. Some types of Herbal Tea are excellent to help a person relax. Hot milk can help, but is not best as a regular habit.
- Don't watch TV or be on your computer. Studies have shown that screen time at least an hour before bed can keep you from falling asleep. Because whatever you watch on TV it may last an impression on your mind and you may cannot stop thinking about when you go to bed.
Now get Ready to sleep:
- Read a little bit of a book or do something that you don't need much noise for, like making up a story in your head . or what ever that makes you sleepy
- Switch off the lights and noise. Some need pitch black to sleep at night, and others prefer a little light. Have the lighting at a comfortable brightness/darkness so you can sleep at ease.
- Think about something else like a fantasy dream. Feel free from the World. Feel you are there where you wish to be. It will help unburden your mind. Feel like you are laying on a beach and its midnight.
- Think that it is almost time to getup. Its a nice trick to make yourself dizzy.
- Listen some Calm Music while sleeping.
If Nothing helps then you are obviously insomniac. U may need peace of mind then before you go to sleep.

- Find a calm hobby that you love. Like painting, writing, playing music etc.
- Try to be alone and think about yourself and what is all around you.
- If thinking about yourself stresses you then think about others, it may help you.
- Do some household works. Like washing, ironing etc.
